How to correctly taste whisky?

1. Pour the whisky into the glass, shake the glass to observe how the liquid flows on the belly of the glass.
2. Observe the consistency of the whisky.
3. Observe the wine in the light to see if there are particles floating. If so, the whisky may be of poor quality.
4. Add water to the whisky to release the underlying aroma and flavour.
5. Take a few deep breaths and smell the fragrance.
